			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>GOYA! is an app start up I had the pleasure of working on as a Creative Consultant and mobile designer.</p>
<p>GOYA!  is an acronym for Get Off Your Ass! It is a social networking app that  connects people through experiences and goals. People will use GOYA! to  boast, inspire and mentor others in achieving their aspirations.</p>
<p>Through  the use of rankings, promotions and progress tracking, users are  encouraged to achieve their goals. Ranks are awarded to users at various  stages of their journey with GOYA! &#8211; Rookies, Apprentices, Veterans and  Mentors.</p>
<p>Your profile will read like a diary of achievements, videos, photos and experiences that you and your friends can relish in.</p>
<p>For this project, I designed the UI, IA and worked conceptually on the overall function of the app.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As an answer to the D&amp;AD White Pencil competition to promote Peace One Day. A  creative was written to establish the title of &#8216;<a href="http://peacedaybaby.com/" target="_blank">Peace Baby</a>&#8216;, given  to new born babies and adults who were born on 21st September. In the  hope to establish Peace Baby as a title commonly given to &#8216;Leap Year  Babies&#8217; or &#8216;New Year Babies&#8217;.</p>
<p>Campaign  kicks off in London with a televised broadcast of the first Peace  Babies born on the 21st September 2012. The trail will have a CTA to the  website where other parents may register their Peace Baby and likewise  members of the public  who share the same birthday.</p>
<p>As  a digital execution of the campaign, the site is a social visualisation  platform for members of the public to register themselves as a Peace  Baby through an intuitive and fun process. If you weren&#8217;t born on the  21st September, you could register as a Peace Nanny and invite friends  who you know are Peace Babies.</p>
<p>For the campaign I designed and art directed the build of the site.</p>
<p>This entry made the <a href="http://www.dandad.org/dandad/white-pencil-news/news/white-pencil-shortlist-part-2-drawing-on-history" target="_blank">D&amp;AD White Pencil shortlist</a>.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>To launch the  continuation of the second season of The Walking  Dead, <a href="http://www.redbeemedia.com/" target="_blank">Red Bee Media </a> created a ‘companion app’: an application that  syncs with the show to   increase viewer engagement and as a platform to  contain all online   conversations related to the programme while it was aired.</p>
<p>Red Bee Media created a UK first by using audio-watermarking in the  app:  technology that meant Zombie kills can be tracked to the second  with  the main  screen experience, whether it’s live, paused or in  catch-up.  Every kill will be updated live on the app, also featuring  the  character who made  the kill and the weapon of choice.</p>
<p>The app also features a gory archive of all the zombie kills ever  seen across all the episodes in the second season of The Walking Dead.  Categorised according to characters,  episodes and weapons.</p>

<p>A  personalised horror experience brought to life through Facebook to give  fans a taste of what it is like to be Left Behind in a zombie  apocalypse. Through the use of Facebook, you will see pictures of your  own name written in blood, pictures of your loved ones and your own  criminal record. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>These interface designs were conceptualised and created for a pitch to Red Bull for the possible launch of a new TV channel.</p>
<p>The purpose of the app was to enhance viewer experience while watching Red Bull TV, with access to exclusive content, statistics, information, real time data and online activity. This additional features would set Red Bull apart from other channels as viewers are able to be involved in the on-air content.</p>
<p>For this app, we focused on the National High School Football Championships to demonstrate the various ways we could enhance the original programming via this dual screen application.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As  an extension of a TV promo which ran on the BBC network, Red Bee Media  was tasked to produce a print ad which was consistent to the TV promo.  Featuring athletes from the British Olympic Team, Frankie Jones  (rhythmic gymnast), David Daniell (track cyclist) and Meghan Beesley  (hurdler).</p>
<p>The brief had a quick turn around and limited assets,  with only 3 stills exported from the uncompressed footage as seen below  provided.</p>

<p><strong><span style="color: #000000;">Title of the brief &#8211; Disappearing Cities</span></strong><span style="color: #000000;"><br />
This was a moving image brief set by onedotzero for D&amp;AD. Mankind’s fascination with city living continues at a startling pace, accelerating towards nations of supercities. From personal stories to community collectives, it’s time to investigate how cities are changing and in turn how we are changing our cities, our hopes and fears of urban dwelling both now and in the future.</span></p>

<p><strong><span style="color: #000000;">My Approach:</span></strong></p>
<p><span style="color: #000000;">The short film shares the personal reflection of a young girl who prefers the online/ digital world to the physical natural world. </span><span style="color: #000000;">At 16 Million strong, kids between the ages of 2 to 11 years old are the fastest growing online population to date. We are witnessing a disappearing generation who are slowly but surely transferring their existence online. The film is extended into another medium in the form of children’s shoes left empty and isolated around London in places where children used to populate (playgrounds, parks). Thus, transforming the short film into an educational piece which addresses the issue of children spending too much time in an online virtual reality.</span></p>

<p>The leaves and trees are a representation of the idea to restore the old back to the new, regenerating the nonfunctional to be functional and reconnecting the human back to nature, with an appreciation for her fragility.</p>
<h5>Considerations</h5>
<p>Due to a brand value to be low-impact, all primary brand colours will be black and white, with a flexible option to include the inherited traits of the chosen medium. (wood, leaves, recycled cardboard)</p>

<h5>Essence of Idea</h5>
<p>The issue I chose to focus on, was how food labels are often confusing and inconsistent as some supermarkets in the UK adopt a different nutrition labelling system.</p>
<p>With that, I decided to communicate the benefits of simple traffic light colours used in the FSA Traffic Light Scheme and how by changing them, you can be misled to make wrong decisions.</p>
<h5>Aim</h5>
<p>1. To inform of a better food labelling system to help consumers make quicker and informed decisions on their purchases.</p>
<p>2. To direct consumers online to petition for the British government to pass stricter laws on food labelling. Showmethelight.co.uk will be an online platform for people to find out more about food labelling and contain a petition form which can be filled and submitted immediately.</p>
